Perthyn was formed in 2002 following a restructuring of two organisations. Perthyn is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. As a charity it operates on a ‘not-for-profit’ basis. Perthyn’s primary purpose is to provide support to people with learning disabilities.
Perthyn employs approximately 460 staff and provides support to over 120 Service Users. Perthyn provides a range of services including:
- Supported Living
- Transition & Assessment Units (Residential)
- Day Services – different models
Perthyn delivers its services within six Local Authority areas.
