I have worked in the field of human services for over 25 years, the last 12 or so being at Senior/Director level within the not for profit sector. Over this time my skills and experience have been developed through a variety of posts and organisational settings but always in the context of my own personal values and beliefs about how to deliver services that best meet the needs of the people receiving them.

I have and continue to be actively involved in influencing and developing local and national policy have served as a Non Officer Board Member on Cardiff Local Health Board.

I am a voluntary Trustee for 3 organisations all operating in the health and social care sector and I also act as volunteer in one of these organisations.

I have extensive experience and skills in running a large organisation that operates in a wide and varied legislative and regulatory framework.
