How We Are Funded

Perthyn’s funding comes from our contracts with Local Authorities and Health Boards. These contracts are usually for a number of years at a time and whilst many of our contracts have been renewed, they are subject to regular re-tendering by Commissioners.

As a not for profit organisation, every penny we receive is used to pay towards the support we provide to individuals.

Being a large charity though, we do need to employ staff other than those providing direct support, but we work hard all the time to ensure that our overhead costs are kept to the minimum whilst meeting all the legal, contractual and regulatory obligations placed on us.
